Menus and Prices

To prevent our customers from becoming bored, we operate our menus on a three-week cycle. The content of the menus is reviewed every term.

Food Producing menus to suit a wide range of children has never been an easy task. Each meal must meet a number of requirements

It must meet nutritional standards
Parents and carers must be confident that they are receiving good value for money
Most importantly, it must be attractive to children. The days when children could be made to take everything on offer and then expected to clear their plates are gone forever

You will not find liver and onions, spinach or any other of our childhood nightmares on our menus. Such dishes, although highly nutritious, would not be eaten by most pupils. In order to meet the first two objectives, children must want to eat the meals being provided.

Food There is no such thing as unhealthy food, it is only the methods and quantities in which ingredients are combined that can cause an unhealthy diet. When creating menus, Kingswood Catering chooses the foods that children like to eat and combines and produces them in the healthiest possible fashion in order to create a meal that is nutritionally balanced and appealing.

The current price of a traditional two course school meal is £1.40 which represents excellent value for money.

While we endeavour to ensure the menu provided is as described below, on occasion there may be some slight variation.
